VP-EYE 6.6 Software

Introduction

VP-EYE 6.6 is the version for digital microscope camera

application.

This software package has two parts:

1. VP-EYE Capture is a program providing the functions 

         like snapshot, recording, etc.

     2. VP-EYE Camera is a virtual video input driver which

    has the features like a web camera driver and

    provides the image effects and enhancement

    functions. Since VP-EYE Camera is a virtual camera

    driver, it can also be used with a video program like

    MSN or Skype for video conferencing.

Software Features

Base functions : resolution. snapshot. record. delete. full screen, etc..

VP-EYE Capture special functions :

1. Date and time: switch on or off the date and time label on the right bottom area of video screen.

2. Freeze video: halt the running video as a still picture for inspection. This function helps you to

   put the object in the video to a still picture for measuring the size or close up inspection.

   Press the button again to resume normal video.

3. Ruler: switch on or off the ruler for measurement on the object in the video screen. You could

   select measure unit by pixels, 1mm or 10mm. A real ruler can be used under this microscope

   camera for calibration. After doing the calibration, you may click on the video to measure the

   distance of two points.

VP-EYE Camera image enhancement function :

Color adjustment: adjust the hue value for the image color.
Auto level: adjust the range of image input on the population bar chart.
